review 1: Without prelude or foreplay Ashlyn Chase plunges the reader into her steaming sexual spoof and doesn’t let them up for air. Kayla is celebrating her fortieth birthday and takes a leap (or maybe dive would be a more appropriate word) of faith and takes her best friend, Marcus, to bed. When the fog of celebration clears and the change in their relationship reveals itself, thoughts of possibly losing a best friend loom largely before her eyes. Love stories take many forms and lead in unexpected directions. The juicy fantasies of a woman and her raging hormones can make for interesting reading. This story and all those like it will never win a literary prize but they do entertain. When all is said and done, that is the most important gift a fictional writer can give their re... moreaders.
review 2: so another book i downloaded on my nook without reading the synopsis and not paying attention to the cover. geez, if i had paid attention to the cover i would have known it was dirty. uh hello naughty nooners printed across the bottom of the cover should have been a clue, but no im slow. hey it was free so what the heck am i complaing about, right? very graphic. thank goodness it was short. i ended up laughing at the end with the very last line spoken by marcus. less
