review 1: Seriously? This book probably has the least reviews on Goodreads I have ever seen. All mixed ones at that *surprise*I loved this book. (Hey, I loved the movie as well) I think this book was filled with hilarious lines, that really did not have to do with anything.What is this book about? Basically you have these 2 girls Needy & Jennifer who live in this small town with nothing really going on. They are, well Jennifer, super excited about this Indie band coming to play at there local bar. Low Shoulder, yes that is the bands name. Super stupid but hey. After they come to town weird things start happening. After the fire, Jennifer is acting weird. Maybe she should have listened to Needy when telling her not to go into the freaky weirdos van. What happened in that van will cha... morenge Jennifer forever. Now things are getting weirder in Devil's Kettle. Murders. One after another. What is going on?The bond between Needy & Jennifer will bring Needy closer to the answers that she has been wanting.. but, is it to late?This book was hilarious. The things that these girls would say. "Well isn't some one being a little C-U-NEXT-TUESDAY"When it needs to be gory it is. And very visualizing. *Shudders*All in all I loved this book. If you have not read it, read it. That is if you are a fan of a little gore & sick humor!
review 2: Non è un capolavoro, ma una storia carina da leggere in poche ore.Più un racconto che un romanzo, magari il film dice qualcosa di più...non so. Comunque non sarebbe stato male sviscerare un pò di più alcuni aspetti lasciati decisamente troppo all'immaginazione del lettore. Insomma, è un tantino troppo superficiale...per fortuna l'ho preso in "saldo". Sono decisamente troppi, per così poco contenuto, i 16 euri necessari per averlo. less
