review 1: A touching story about a girl, who died because of a heavy neuronal disease. Its been called spinocerebellar ataxia. Just a few people within 7 billions has this disease. There is no cure and no information about how to pretend but if you have this disease, you'll die soon. This book is a true story about a girl, who fights till to the end against her disease. She has her first symptoms of this disease when she was 12-13 years old. After her first symptoms her condition became gradually worse. Even though she know there is no cure Aya doesn't give up on her dream to become an university student. You'll see that after some time, her wishes and aims changes step by step. When it was her wish to study, one year later she only wishes to remain in school and it goes so on. At t... morehe end she only wishes not to be a burden to the ones she loved. So she was always trying to do the little things that remains her. Like going to the toilette by her own or eating her meals without help. It was heart-aching to read this book and see her struggling and crying. Or looking how her mother keeps motivating her although there is nothing left for Aya, just to endure this disease till the very end. Aya died when she was 26 years old. The last 5-6 years of her living, she couldn't do anything. Just breathing and moving her eyelids and eyes. When she died her mother printed her diary and let us show the world Aya live within.
