review 1: I love hollywood insider books and love stories about the good old days of film and television. Love reading insights about how one actor feels about another. Unfortunately, this book was very slight. Not much detail or insight into Ms. Eden's own life - rather a skipping stone time of meandering over the highlights of her career. Lots of name dropping, but again, not much detail or insight into those she has met. One would think an actress would make a better story teller.
review 2: I enjoyed this autobiography. I found Barbara to be an odd mix of sounding full of herself/humble and down to earth. Perhaps the full of herself part was because she was just a gorgeous blonde in show biz, and she really did get hit on all time. She has strong personal standar... moreds that she didn't let movie stars destroy, though and I admired that. It was also news to me about lots of tension on the set of I Dream of Jeannie. less
