review 1: 4.5 stars. I already really liked this author; I discovered her Winter Boy Summer Girl and loved that book!! This one was different but still excellent. The heroine was quirky and lovable. The guy, Casper, lovable but kinda takes a bit more work to love. Luckily Ally sees what's inside of him and drags it to the surface, kicking a screaming all the way. And while she's at it, drags the whole town along with him. It was heart-warming to watch. Sure, they faltered a bit but never lost sight of what was in their hearts. I really enjoyed this book very much!!!
review 2: It's been a while since I read Barbara Elsborg's. Quite refreshing! After receiving bunch of bad luck, Ally planned to get away from the city and went to small town, to his brother's empty house. H
... moree met Caspar, all alone and scarred from past, she liked him. But apparently Ally's bad luck is not just a bad luck. Someone tried to kill her. And he followed Ally all this time.. It was kind of bummed that Ally's foster brother didn't revealed until the very end. I liked Caspar but why in the world his name's Caspar? Jesus. Not that I hated it, it's just, remind me of Casper the friendly ghost, you know? Miss Elsborg always delivered her story with thick humor and jokes. I loved it! Can't wait to read another book of her. :))) less

I found the plot a little bit over the top for my liking. To be fair I'll leave it with no rating.
