review 1: I thought I'd like this book after reading the synopsis...then I started it..and I decided it wasn't my thing...BUT I kept reading and I'm glad I did. There were still parts I could have done without , but as a whole it was written with southern humor and heart. Three women on a road trip, one is taking a break from her husband and looking for antiques for her business, one a teenager escaping her life , and a third a woman who wants to commit suicide. I can just see it as a movie. Themes seems to be finding oneself, freedom, and being needed.

We enjoyed the author's skill at weav... moreing not only a story, but stringing together a collection of words that kept us listening (as we enjoyed the audio version of this book).Needless to say, we look forward to reading more from is author. We can recommend this to anyone who wants a fun, easy read and a satisfying conclusion. less
