review 1: I love Beth Kendrick's books. They are always enjoyable and light hearted and just what I need. My only "issue" with this one was that it was so heavily dog focused. One might say "duh, its about a dog matching service," but I still didn't expect it to be as heavily focused as it was. That being said, once I did get into the story, it stopped bothering me and I was genuinely surprised by the ending. I definitely recommend any and all of her books.
review 2: I liked this book. I read some of the goodreads reviews and I liked the main character contrary to unpopularity in the reviews. I found her to have a commitment problem but understandable because her parents are divorced and she didn't want to make a matrimonial mistake. I loved all the dogs. They had some p... moreretty funny names especially the dog named "Lucy fur" :) I laughed aloud. The only thing I didn't like was the negative vibe the book gave to shelters. I did agree with the one review that said the book gave shelters a bad name. Overall, a very fun read. less
