review 1: This is book 8 in the trilogy. An OK read for a BDSM novel.This books is made up of short chapters; 2 chapters to be exact and kind of pricey for 2 chapters. The story is intriguing enough but I found the characters 2 dimensional and the story trite. After a while, I got bored.I read book 1-8 in one sitting and well it is an ok story. Don't expect much of a plot or intrigue with this book. After a while I just wanted the books to end..
review 2: Because I Am Yours, finally!First of all let me just say I hated the fact that I had to read and review this book 2 chapter at a time. If I was reading this when it got out, I wouldn´t do it. It would have been torture. Second now I can review the book in is totality. Finally :)Ian is the complete alpha, tortured, with... more a tough past, needing dominance in all aspects of his life and just shot out of the world. Francesca was the typical insecure girl, with complexes, that bloomed in to a beautiful independent girl that wasn´t able to give herself to any man. Until of course Ian crosses her path. Sexually is a complete dominant/submissive role, but outside that Francesca doesn´t enable him in any way, well at least until sex is on the horizon there the girl just crumbles :PHe of course had a past, and secrets surrounding him and when Francesca went after him, she saw him in all is weakness and fragile state. That led to a really intense scene, but like always when love it him in the face he walked away. Honestly I loved most of the book, but these last two chapters weren´t enough for me, like I feared it was rushed. Ok he surprised her, apologized and told her in a weird way he loved her. But them, The End. It felled poor and incomplete. In regards to the author I never read anything of her, but I was pleasantly surprised. I liked the way she led her characters, I love the construction of their pasts, the surroundings, the sex scenes, the creativity, overall it was a 5 star book. It’s a shame that I had to review it chapter by chapter, if not this was definitely a 5 star book.Intense, hot, steamy, compelling, romantic in some ways, amazingly fun and overall interesting :) less
