review 1: This collection of three stories was light, fluffy, romantic, and packed full of plotlines that center around emotional issues such as an (uber-chaste!) first love, or working out past issues with another family member. The stories are set in a very close, tight-knit community where everyone knows what is expected of them, children are obedient, and everyone has an identical racial, cultural, and religious background. ... moretion throughout but not overly so. Although the plots were predictable I still found myself quite intetested in the outcomes of each character. I didnt realize there wrre 3 stories until the first was finished and I found myself wanting to know more of that storyline. I had hoped the three stories would link themselves at the end but found it way too brief...was a little disappointed. One thing I especially liked were the little sprinklings of German throughout...very charming! less
