EVERY BODY ON DECK By G. A. McKevett

I have long been a fan of this series and enjoyed Savannah and friends. I was looking forward to the new adventure. I was sadly disappointed in the book. The characters advance in the story which I enjoyed. The writing did not flow slowly as it jumps from the mystery to personal comments. The plot is not original and I have seen it a few times. I knew the killer about a third of the way through the book. I have difficulty determining the time of the story. It has been a long time since Alaska has been that primitive. The characters had computers but no cell phones. The author is a better writer. The Moonlight Magnolia Detective Agency is hired to protect Natasha Van Cleef, a famous author on a cruise to Alaska. The author has received death threats. Natasha feels the cruise is a necessary as her fans are expecting to meet with her. The MM Agency is given an expense free trip for the cruise. Will Natasha survived the trip? Disclosure: I received a free copy Kensington Books through NetGalley for an honest review. I would like to thank them for this opportunity to read and review the book. The opinions expressed are my own.
