My brief conclusion: this book is not bad at all. I liked the writing style. It was light read, fast paced and short story. There are a few crude words that I felt uncomfortable with but I chose to ignore it because well, that’s how interesting the story is!
I may have skimmed a lot of smut scenes because I got easily bored with it being repetitive, I only read their first time. Usually that is what I do to most books UNLESS the smut scenes are exceptionally hot … then I will read every spicy detail of it.
Also, I liked the element of surprise in this book. I definitely didn’t expect that the heroine is a cyborg. Well, the hint is right in front of my eyes I was like DUH! On that part, the author did a great job. I will look forward to the rest of the books in the series!
