review 1: It went from being super lame, to awesomely funny to super fantabulous fananabananatistic! Back when [volume 1] it was just a bunch of shallow guys making a girls life [kind of?] miserable and went on to be this amazing love story between two completely opposite people who, against, all odds fell in love with each other. It became about finding good in people and making them better human beings. It became about finding the best family in your friends. It was epic, it was funny and it had a lot of heart.Along with Haruhi, even I fell in love with Tamaki. I love his heart. Its pure gold and sunshine and spring in bloom and all the warm, happy feelings in the world. His patience made me respect him. His understanding made me swoon. His tender looks to Haruhi made my heart flu... moretter. His bromance with Kyouya made my life. He was just brilliant.I hope to read this again someday. Hats off, Bisco Hatori.
review 2: This was one of the best manga series I've ever read. It was the only story where a love triangle was so well done, the humor was outrageously funny and there was a deep story. Even the chapters that seemed pointless were indeed to help the audience understand the main characters. Each of the characters were so distinct and well developed that if we wanted to predict the next move of a character, it was possible. less
