review 1: Due to her wild past and guilt she felt with what she did in her past Jessica is trying to be good. She is trying to be responsible and show her parents particularly her father that she can be responsible and succeed on her own in a career she chose. Along the way in this path she meets Parker. At first she finds him arrogant and not someone she wanted to know but in time the two become inseparable.Parker’s past has him not trusting people to much and closed off. Jessica changes this in him. He slowly opens up and brings her in. When he does something that hurts Jessica she walks away but still blames him for her leaving saying he dumped her. Far from that but her insecurities rear their ugly heads and she finds herself feeling unworthy of someone thinking she is worth i... moret. Parker quickly dispels this from her and they are together again. That doesn’t mean things don’t happen to rock the boat. Dani his cousin has him face his past again and their friends have them sharing a happy moment together.Each character in this sweet romance have you see the demons that haunt them and show us that our pasts dictate our thoughts and actions even if we don’t want them to. From Parker being closed off where you want to show him that it is okay to feel emotions and have someone love you, Jessica who feels due to her father not finding her to be adequate and getting her to feel that she isn’t worthy of love to Heather whose past has her wary of a relationship again and even Dani who feels pressured to conform- there is a understanding that is felt and a closeness amongst not only themselves but the reader as well. You get to see a relationship slowly progress and Parker and Jessica grow with each other and within themselves.A book that teaches you to open up to love and allow it to help you heal. One that teaches you that you are a good person and one that deserve love even if you feel you don’t and when you finally accept that you are free to be who you are meant to be. A sweet romance that will leave you smiling in the end as two people who don’t trust easily come together and find trust with each other.
review 2: I was so excited to get Jessica & Parker's story.... that the minute it turned up on my kindle, I had to dive right in and I was left with a happy heart .....This book will take you on a heartfelt, discovery journey as two opposites with a long history.... Finally open up to one another and leave behind the game playing.... to discover together their pasts and baggage may just not be so bad.....This is a sweet, romantic and Hot story.... Jessica and Parker simply sizzle when they cum together.....I couldn't put this book down and devoured it over night .... It was simply adorable, I loved Jessica and Parker....I look forward to more from this author in the future as her words on paper have a habit of drawing me in and leaving me craving for more..... less
