review 1: I enjoyed this book very much. It's written by an LDS man and of course he wrote with an LDS perspective, which I agree with. One good thing though is that he included research and information from people of other faiths. Near death reports of what life after death is like seem to be nearly the same. For me that was pretty interesting. To me it confirmed that the way I believe is so similar to what others think that I find peace in our LDS beliefs about life after death. If your interested in hearing him talk you can get this in a Ed talk on BYUTV. A lot of the info in the book was in the talk.k
review 2: this book changed me! after reading chapter 6, I literally prayed longer than I ever have, and asked forgiveness for every single wrong deed I could remember ... moredoing! ! the description of one's "life review", was life changing. I want to be sure I cleared everything up before this happens to me! ! ! ! if you want to know what heaven is like, with lots of doctrine and stories to back it up...this is the book for you. less
