review 1: It takes great skill for an author to write a trilogy with such has great depth and detail in almost every aspect of the novels. Whilst reading this trilogy I struggled to put all the books down. I was truly engulfed in the plot and I felt as though I had a strong connection with the characters. This trilogy was very enjoyable to read and I will definitely be rereading this trilogy soon. :)
review 2: Finally. I'm done.Things I liked: tons of plot threads, some exciting action sequences.Things I didn't like: too many to list. The egregious mistreatment of women characters by the author, so extreme at some points that I had to skip sections. The interesting character arcs foiled by poor pacing. The ridiculous ending (further undermined by significant slipping i... moren the writing style). Well, at least I have some ideas now on what not to do when you're writing a book less
