review 1: If you live in a small village and people think you did something wrong with a kid, they will make your life a living hell and take justice into their own hands. Thats what happens to Mark. He is accused of having an affair with a minor student (he is/was a teacher). A year later another girl is murdered and everyone thinks he did it because he cannont keep his hands of little girls. This time they will make sure he cannot get away with it. But their is a lot going on in that small village, things that happened in the passed, unsolved.
review 2: I was pleasantly surprised by the storyline and quality of this book. I discovered it while looking through books that were recommended to me as being similar to other books I have read. Although the first few chapters ... morewere a bit slow and frustrating, I soon picked up the author's writing rhythm. Most of the twists and turns of the plot didn't happen until the last third of the book, and I was never able to guess the ending until if actually happened (which is rare for me). less
