review 1: My book review is on The Avengers written by Brian Michael Bendis. It is a superhero comic book intended for young adults. I like this book because of the action in the book and the storyline. H.A.M.M.E.R. agents have broken Norman Osborn out of prison. He is working with A.I.M. and Madame Hydra. Trying to get revenge on the Avengers. Ironman has been hacked, red hulk and storm taken over by H.A.M.M.E.R. and Norma Osborn tries to take over. The avengers all worked together and worked as a team to beat Norman Osborn.I my opinion the charter red hulk strength is his rage and his weakness is his jealousy of the hulk. Iron man strength is his tech and his brains and his weakness is his tech because it was hacked. In my opinion the setting was the weakness because it was mostly... more based at the avenger mansion I found it boring. The story line was a strength because I thought a lot of action took place. In my opinion the strength of the illustrations was the realism because they all looked real and I didn’t find any weaknesses in the illustrations.I like the characters red hulk and iron man. I like the story line and I thought the illustrations were realistic. I would give this book 4.5 out of 5.
review 2: As with the parallel New Avengers volume, Bendis does a good job of revisiting Osbourne and making it a lot of fun despite the kind of repetitive plot (though this one is actually more original than the New Avengers plot). He also does a great job of really keeping the two comics separate despite having a shared plot. There’s a little bit less effort spent on character than I would like, but this is all around a fun adventure. less
