review 1: This one was a lot of fun. I'll admit the beginning rubbed me the wrong way: "How dare you not live a life that puts you in constant danger, teenage boy whose mother died tragically in your arms?" Then there's Cloak and Dagger's constant whining. I agree that getting into a horrific accident on your prom night and being experimented on by evil scientists is pretty bad. But would they stop complaining about how much they're powers suck? They seem to have complete control over their abilities, and absolutely no physical deformities. It's like a movie star complaining about her physical attractiveness. Not buying it guys. Otherwise I really enjoyed this volume. This group has great chemistry and I would love to see them get together in the future.
review 2:
... moreMarvel please bring Miles Morales over to the original Marvel Universe! This book I feel is why we love superhero comics. You care about the characters, the action is incredible and the artwork is always top notch. This is quite simply one of the best Spider-man series out there. I really hope Brian Michael Bendis doesn't leave this book anytime soon. I probably would have gave this book 5 stars but the last volume was a bit better. Please pick up this graphic novel series asap. less
