review 1: Best lines:A marriage is a conversation that's supposed to last a lifetime, We didn't have enough to say to each other. A lifetime's worth of material is a lot of material. What's wrong with just being quiet together.What is marriage? How does it operate in private, in public? What's its role for the individuals involved and in society at large? And, of course, what I really want to know was what marriage had to do with me, personally, what did it want from me, what did I owe it, and what did it owe me in return.This was my own doing and undoing.I was unprepared for this kind of grieving, how quickly it turned to anger then love then embattled pride. I felt foolish, without warning, I would feel empty, but soon it would start up all over again.But he knew things were... more different between us now, and we had to ask hard questions.Life is a tangle.I suggest you not play it safe.
review 2: I just finished readin this... I was readin other ppls comments and faced mostly the same issues... It took me a while to get into this book and that when you actually think abt it the main character doesnt have anything that you could really fall in love with... She is kinda all over the place... She doesnt really explain her thoughts... But when i finally got into the book it got better and better less
