review 1: I had to give this book 3 stars out of 5 and it was mainly because of the crazy amount of different characters and weird Swedish names. The story was great and kept my interest but it was difficult to keep up with all the different characters, I sometimes had to refer back to other chapters to remember who was who. If you're frustrated, give it a chance, the story and characters eventually all tie together for a great read. Although some parts were predictable, the ending was not and I was impressed. There are too many predictable crime novels. All in all Camilla is an incredible writer and I look forward to reading more of her books.
review 2: I admit it, I'm addicted to Lackberg's domestic thrillers. There's always a good mystery, a spattering of historical ... moreinterest and the struggles with choosing between hauling the kids along on a fact finding mission or suffering her mother in law's disapproval for the free child care. All pulled together without being goofy but rather having a nice little Agatha Christie feel, completely modern but something slightly more formal than American thrillers. Just love them. less
