review 1: The last of this series picks up with Dr. Leigh Strathos and her "no emotions complications" life. All seems to be going well until her husband Nick, who she is separated from, contacts her and wants her to come home to help her sister. Then a new set of complications arise.This book is especially action packed. Infused with all of the action is love, laughter, and faith in God.The drama is well written, characters are very clearly and realistically portrayed, and there is an honest look at human emotions. If you like fast-paced hospital drama and a look into the lives of its people, you will love this series!
review 2: This book at times left me speechless. Leigh's struggle with her husbands betrayal was so devastating and so personal. At first I wasn't su... morere if I could keep reading, I mean why would I want to keep reading a book where a husband has an affair and the silly woman (Leigh) gets back with him. I mean of course she needs to forgive him, but get back with a cheater? Inn my mind heck no! But this book did something beautiful. It made me realize we all sin in different ways, and for nick his sin was big in your face ugly, and yet he still is forgiven by God. His sin was easier to see, and some of us hristians are good at hiding our sins, making them harder to see. I must remember to Never judge someone on the basis on how wrong i think their sin is as a sin is a sin, no matter how big or small. God is the ultimate judge and forgiver. This book portrayed nick's struggle, his wife's, and the other woman's in a tragic yet restoring way with a captivating storyline. I can't express what this book did for my soul, as it challenged my emotions in a good way. I feel like I learned a lot. Highly highly recommend it! less
