review 1: WHAT!!!! UGH...what? Its just going to end like that!!So i found this book through the "Make Me: 12 Tales of Desier" book.So heres my quick review of the 1st book & this one.I enoyed the writing style, the characters, thier interact with each other and others, the story line...I really enjoyed it all.We start out learningabout Klaus & Jodie and how they discover they are into kink...then in the 2nd book...decisions have to be made durning a bad situation and they take Steph hostage...I loved the intorduction of Steph and the whole storyline that went with it. I lked her reaction to the situation she was in and how everyone interacted. The sex scences of course were HOT!!!! in both book 1 & 2 ;o)So what I'm disappoited in is how the author left us.Klaus takes Steph back and... more the 3 are supposed to move away together...But we still see Steph not lking Klaus (as much as she dos Jodie) and we never get to see/hear thier HEA ;o(Thats it...
review 2: DNF!!!! Considering the way I devoured the first instalment I had to give this book a miss halfway through. Firstly did this book have a different editor? the style of writing did not flow the same as it did in the first, I felt a real disconnect. I am all for branching out into new avenues but a lot of it did not seem realistic. There was a scene where Klaus told Stephanie to clean up the scene whilst he and Jodie waited outside. Now if you'd just committed a murder, would you really leave the clean up operation to somebody else. Anyway I did try, I think this is the end of the series for me.P.s the subject matter/ abduction did not put me off, I just feel that the storyline (what I read) was poorly executed and unbelievableP.p.s I don't see how this books got a better rating than the first *crickets* less
