review 1: I loved this book it was a little different than some of my other BDSM books. Jodie came up with an idea for a documentary for her to be captured and document the day in the life a kidnapped person. Klaus was an ex boyfriend who was going to capture her and keep her as a slave. Klaus an accountant made sure all the rules were written but, then went off of the rules and just did his own thing. He found out that he thought he was a sadist. He found out he really liked inflicting pain and when things started going awry he ran. But, Jodie really loved what he did to her and he stopped before things had really gotten out of control so she didn't see anything wrong but, he did and put some distance between them. There is an HEA for this story and it looks like there is a c... moreontinuation to their story. Can't wait to continue to read on.
review 2: Ummm, not sure what to write about this story. Jodie is looking to make a film about a capture fantasy, something she's read about and fantasized about for years. She asks ex-boyfriend Klaus to be the capturer. Klaus is an accountant, very safe and staid, and Jodie feels very safe (if not somewhat bored) with him. After much negotiation over the rules, Klaus agrees. After the first day Jodie decides that Klaus is too nice to play his part....in the meantime Klaus has decided to change the rules. He's done some reading on BDSM and TPE and it stirs something in him. He starts out just trying to play a mind-fuck on Jodie, but things escalate way beyond their original contract. There is a lot of self-realization for both MC's in this book, both discovering things about themselves they never even guessed were there. The book was well written, but I just didn't really enjoy it all that much. less
