review 1: Carries It Across the Goal Line and Kicks the Extra PointThird in a series set at a college in Idaho, of all places, this one rings true on so many levels that you are pulling for Julian and Koby every step of the way while suspecting that somewhere along the line a true psychological explosion will shatter their lives. The theme of growing up with physical abuse that makes it difficult for an MC to have a real relationship, has been done many times and this book didn't add anything new or interesting to the genre. But as book 3 in a series, I thought it was a good addition. I liked Julian and Koby and I did enjoy watching them reach their HEA. less
