review 1: This book shows exactly what kind of crazy stuff love can drive you to do, as clary fights demons and tricks her brother Jonathon who wants her to be just like him despite her having angel blood and him having demon blood. It is amazing the realty that is shown between Nephilim and downworlders acting as family. This shows that even though clary's mom and stepfather are on different sides they still love each other! One of the greatest book series I have ever read.
review 2: Really well-written! Just like the other books, Clary makes so many frustrating decisions! Drives me nuts!!!!! But besides that I thought the problem in this book was really interesting to figure out! There were parts I was confused about because they told many different parts in differen... moret perspectives. But this was a huge improvement from City of Fallen Angels! I liked how this book talked more about Alec and Magnus's relationship and also about Jordan's and Maia as well. less
