review 1: Only reason I read this: Tessa GrayOnly reason I loved this: Tessa GrayThe final scene was beautiful and so sweet. I wonder if the origin of the name Fray was planned by Clare from the beginning or if it just happened to work out in this novella. Either way, it warmed my heart and made me miss The Infernal Devices even more! I hope Tessa will be in CoHF a decent amount. She is by far my favorite character in Cassandra Clare's world (Will's a close second!)
review 2: I don't normally give novellas a 5 star rating because since the stories are so short I feel that I don't get a full story. The Last Stand of the New York Institute is the exception to this rule of mine. This was a fully rounded edition to the Bane Chronicles and had some of everything except Magnu... mores' usual interest in love of some form. Magnus' first encounter with Valentine Morgenstern was action packed and emotional and I extremely enjoyed the exchange of words between them. This book for me less
