The Mortal Instruments
review 1: This was a breathtaking end of the Mortal Instruments series. I loved the idea of the main characters having to travel to a new dimension, and I was glad to have found out the identity of Magnus Bane's father. The epilogue was possibly my favorite part, where Simon gave up his immortality as a vampire, reverted to a normal lifestyle, and forgot about the Shadow World completely... Or so I thought before I read about Simon's band's new name: the Mortal Instruments. The ending of the book was possibly my favorite part of it. Unfortunately, this book was a little bit confusing sometimes. At first I didn't understand why a whole new group of characters was brought into the story, but after I finished the book, I saw that they will most likely be the main characters in a new se... moreries. This made sense, as there were some loose ends about what would happen to the faeries, who betrayed the Shadow Hunters. There was also some mature content, so I would only recommend it to people who are twelve or more. All in all, I enjoyed this book and the series, and will eagerly wait for the next series.
review 2: So there went TMI. I didn't like it I nearly hated it, wait no, I freaking hated it. I should have stoped at book three when everything was nice and peachy and I dreamed of Jace as my boyfriend. I loved Jace but I don't even care anymore. I didn't feel enything when this ended. I feel bad, but sorry I can't even muster the feeling that I should feel sad that it ended. It should have ended three fucking books ago less
