review 1: As expected, I wasn't ready for this. The characters from TID are all so dear to my heart that the fact that so many of them were mentioned in this book and Will, Tessa and Jem actually appeared and talked and breathed... I never wanted this to end. I'm absolutely looking forward to reading The Last Hours even though it isn't coming out till 2017 (insert desperate sobbing). I just know it's going to be amazing.Seeing Will as an adult and a father but still the same boy he was back in the day, and all of this from Magnus's perspective made my heart ache. It was kind of bittersweet. And I already love James, which isn't weird considering he's a Herondale. Plus he's got a thing for ducks too.
review 2: 3.5 stars!Herondales! *sighs* Meet Will (he is well in his for... moreties now), Tessa & their oldest son James Herondale in this short story. Also meet the silent Brother Zachariah (wink, wink, Jem)."My father was cursed, but I'm damned." James Herondale says to Magnus. Well, this boy left his charm on me with this sentence and thats why i'm definitely gonna read The Last Hours trilogy when it comes out. Also, James has a special power inherited from his mother (not telling, find it for yourself).So the beautiful boy who has everything (a loving family, good friends and a parabatai), why is he intent on destroying himself? Read the story to find out. Also, find out why Tatiana Blackthorn wants to seek revenge on the shadowhunters. And what has Magnus got to do with it.I'm amazed how our Magnus has met and offered to help every Herondale- from Edmund, to Will, to James,.... to Jace. I feel Magnus is like Dumbledore to this Shadowhunter series, with his vast knowledge and sympathy for the poor souls in need (not ignoring that they both are gay).Definitely recommended if you want to read Cassie Clare's The Last Hours trilogy when it comes out. less

Están allí.Mierda.Pero la diferencia de este libro es que vi de nuevo a Jem y Tessa y al Jamie, y solo quiero decir ¡que estoy ansiosa por The Last Hours! Oh por dios.Grace es una pequeña rompe corazones que se ganó el corazón de James Herondale y no lo supo valorar, y estoy realmente desquiciada por leer más de estos chicos.Magnus es lo mejor que le pasó a Cassie por la cabeza, sinceramente.
