review 1: Number #4. They just keep getting better. Abigail is the ex-betrothed of Richard from book 3 and Andres has been in every book so far. He is such a wonderful character, he deserves and gets a wonderful love story. The beginning is funny with Abigail discovering the so called love of her life is marrying her cousin (the characters in book 5) and Andres so called mistress throws a tantrum at the same ball. The ending has a horse birth and I cried through the whole ending. Happy crying, the best way to end a book! I am now going to finish number 5.
review 2: I really enjoyed this story. I do not like the Title or the Cover but risked it and was glad I did. It was a great Historical romance. They marry for money or convenience (to get out of an unpleasant arranged ... moremarriage) and end up falling in love. The turn of events created an opportunity for them to struggle together, thus creating that bond so needed in a successful marriage. He learns through his love for her that who he wants to be and what changes he has to make in his life. They were mostly honest with one another and have to learn to demonstrate their love in their actions and voice.It touches a bit on prejudice, self-confidence, and the things that really make us who we are.It is an adult book and contains some sex. less
