review 1: A fun romance about a vet, covering her friend's small animal practice in the country. Some fun tales and antics, some real life wisdom and facts. Overall fun but could not stand the romance parts. Spoiler : she is attracted to a man who has good looks, good money and an ex-wife and kids. He's spoiled, mean, fast and arrogant. He saves her life but continues to be all those other things. Just couldn't find him as an attractive hero for the book and that irritated me.
review 2: I saw this book at the library and picked it up mainly because of the adorable dog on the front. Looking back, that was my first mistake. The story is predictable, the characters are two dimensional, and the whole book uses just about every chick lit cliche out there. Repeatedly and to li... morettle effect. While I love a good chick lit novel, there are far better choices out there. This book just isn't good. less
