review 1: Despite the cheese factor that tends to go along with the entire It Girl series (and its predecessor, Gossip Girl), I still enjoy them. No, they are not super deep. And they won't be destined to be named "classics" anytime soon, but they are good reads with interesting characters that you can easily relate to and become attached to. I for one am sad that this series has ended. I do, however, feel that (as with her Gossip Girl series) she has left the door open for more. If you've kept up with the most recent installment of Gossip Girl, which is titled I Will Always Love You and covers the four year span of its main characters, you know that Jenny Humphrey does eventually come into the story line quite a bit, and we know a certain amount of what happens to her. Given that, ... moreI think it would be interesting for another spin-off that focuses potentially on Callie, Brett or Tinsley, during their senior year and in their pursuits, with Jenny still maintaining a role, but maybe a slightly smaller one. Either way, this was a good book and I am sad to see the series end.
review 2: Ah, the end of the Gossip Girl/It Girl saga. It was fun while it lasted. I will say they would have been wise to put this one out before the last GG novel, which falls later in time than this one. It's kind of hard to get excited to know what happens to Jenny in this when you already know what life is going to be like for her years later. It was a good wrap up for the rest of the Waverly gang, though.You know you love me.XOXO less
