review 1: A Cursed Bloodline was freaking awesome! I recommend this series to everybody! If I had the power to make people read, I would make them read this series! It put me through the ringer. I was mad, happy & sad! Not a lot of stories can me cry & this one just had me in tears, it was so freaking good. I love Celia & Aric! They go through so much, yet we're shown that love can conquer anything! There were so many twists and turns in this story I mean there was a lot I didn't see coming. I will definitely reread this series over and over again! I can't wait until A Curse Unbroken comes out next year! Please read this series y'all! You won't be disappointed!
review 2: Another excellent installment in the Weird Girls series! The emotional tone is a lot darker than the
... moreprevious novels in the series with less humor, as the storyline picks up right after the events in "Cursed by Destiny." Celia discovers something that will change her and Aric's lives forever and immediately afterwards she is attacked by Anara who threatens Aric and her sisters if she does not cut all ties with Aric.Once the action starts, there is little time to catch your breath as Celia and her loved ones are attacked repeatedly by Anara, the Tribe and each other. Through it all Celia remains strong and determined to protect her family and friends as well as the secret she cannot risk sharing with anyone. Danny however figures out what is going on and decides to help Celia no matter the consequences, once again proving his heart and courage.Every relationship is tested and not all will survive the turmoil to come, and there are losses. The final chapters are utterly heartbreaking and require a lot of Kleenex. (I reread them last night, and cried even harder the second time!) We are left with heavy hearts aching for the last installment of Celia's story in March, but also set up for Taran to take center stage in her own stories next. (And there are definite threads to her future in this one, so pay close attention!)Cecy has definitely created a masterpiece with this book, further cementing her status as one of my all-time favorite authors, and I cannot wait to see what happens next!! less
