review 1: Awry was an excellent second book in the series. We get to learn the real story behind their first meetings and the curses. The main story progress was a bit slow at the start and sped up for the last 1/3 or so of the book. My main belief, which I won't say for spoiler reasons, was confirmed.My only problem with Awry is that Nate and Gabriel were so instant on blaming Scarlet's condition on Tristan when we are constantly shown that Scarlet is the problem. It was annoying seeing them blame him for something he wasn't even concious for! Again I won't say because spoilers, but you'll know it as soon as you read it.Overall it was an excellent read that answered pretty much every question I had left from the first one. It even had one reveal I hadn't expe... morected.
review 2: This book deserves all of the stars just because of Tristan! No seriously! Okey okey the story itself deserves 5 stars as well. :P I loved this book just as much as the first one...maybe even more ! The flashbacks were so interesting and luckily not boring at all. That is not the case with every book, that contains flashbacks. So yay for that! The characters were even better than before ! I didn't think it was possible, but here I am loving Tristan even more than I did before. Unbelievable, isn't it? No it isn't. :D less
