review 1: I loved this book! If you love the books by Jamie McGuire then you will love this as well. I am a sucker whenever a character is named Sarah like myself and I fell in love with Sarah. Sarah and Levi have had a rough year and along the way we learn what has been so rough about it. Handling working and living right next to each other is hard enough. but it is even harder for Sarah and Levi. You are in for a wild ride and it is a great romantic summer read!
review 2: Super cute book! I really liked this story - I'm a sucker for couples who grew up together - but most stories don't dwell a lot on their past that leads up to how they feel about now - this one did - it was cute hearing the stories of Levi being Pixie's hero when she was 7 and was afraid of the monste... morers - how he protected her even as a young kid and teenager - he always felt like she belonged to him. She was his best friend, where he felt at home. Only a harsh tragedy tore them apart on that night when Charity's death hit everyone - the accident causing more pain in Pixie than the scars she now has to show for it. Levi felt the guilt and was afraid, but Pixie felt the abandonment and solitude. When they found themselves living just walls apart, sharing a bathroom and working for Pixie's aunt, their relationship was strained - the friendship and comfort they both shared was stripped by many months apart, and they didn't know how to face each other again. These two had a lot of gut wrenching emotions to work out on their own, but mostly they needed each other. They had the chemistry, but they both chose to ignore it. Pixie's worse fear was to lose him - Levi's worse fear, was to lose her. Great story :) Loved it! less
