review 1: This is the story of Jenna and Jack. Jenna has witnessed heartache first hand. Vowing to never fall prey to that kind of pain she lives her life independently and has no plan to change that. After a night of passion with her friend Jack, Jenna refuses to think of it as anything other than a fun night. She works as quickly as she can to push Jack far away from her. When they circumstances force them to come together, Jack decides he's not going to let Jenna push him away this time. The drama and angst in this book is definitely intense. Way more intense then I thought when I started this book. Right kind of Wrong is a very fun and flirty and fast paced read that will throw you for a loop. I never got bored and the plot was incredibly mapped out. Everything coming out at just... more the right time. Jenna was not a very lovable character in my opinion. She drove me absolutely crazy and had it not been for Jack and the captivating story, I'm not sure the end result would be the same for me. Thankfully the story outweighed Jenna's character development. I really would enjoy another book where it shows her characters growth a little more
review 2: I'd like to label this a fun road trip read, and it is, but this book became so much more and I enjoyed it from start to finish. It was quite obvious that Jenna and Jack were written in the stars. So different but so completely alike it was as if they were one soul torn in two, lost until they were together. As much as Jenna wanted to deny her feelings for Jack, there was no way of getting around them and I knew her mind would eventually have to accept what her heart already knew. For two people who were not a couple they certainly knew little things about each other's actions that most others probably wouldn't have paid enough attention to, and just like the green neon sign Jenna couldn't see, so she was blind to the perfect match that she and Jack made. This book started off light and fun, filled with sexual tension and smoking hot chemistry, and although the latter two were running elements throughout this story, once Jenna and Jack got to Louisiana this story took a darker turn. With drug dealing gangs, secrets and lies, this story was grittier than I was expecting, and the surprising twist only upped my excitement level.A great read with plenty of emotion! less
