review 1: The books in this series have been super short so far. A very easy afternoon read, taking a bit over an hour or so to read. I like that in a series if they are a good read and I am enjoying this one.The story of Linkin and Rocky continues with them becoming closer, physically and emotionally which is done to my liking, alongside Linkin becoming more deeply entrenched in his need for revenge.I better not write too much or it will be longer than the book :)If you like complicated hero/ heroines this one is worth a read. Off to read book 3 now!

Nothing to fight for.” But yet, after 4 years of staying disconnected from the world and feeling only anger, pain, and loss. He is finding that Rocky has this unusual gravitational pull toward him. He is desiring companionship with Rocky that he thought he no longer needed. “I want to make her feel safe. I want to protect her in all the ways I failed to protect Olivia.” Can he put aside his vendetta and find closure? Can Rocky open herself up to the possibility of something with Link?
