review 1: As I said in my review of book 3, I am not normally a fan of serial series...but this one is addictive, intense, powerful, & heartbreaking. Both characters, Link & Rocky, are severely damaged by devastating events from their past but someone, somewhere wants them to have another chance at love & life. But until the past is laid to rest, there is no future for either of them. The conclusion to the series had my heart pounding as the past came back trying to destroy Link & Rocky, as they fought to lay their demons to rest. Very dark, hypnotic read. I loved this series. A must read...especially for those who like dark, intense reads.
review 2: Really enjoyed this series. Though I think it would have served better as one book instead of novella's but who am I?... more! Rocky and Link what a pair. Both damaged badly by their traumatic pasts. Their adult lives weren't much of a life, until they ran into each other. Each teaching the other to move on slowly. To heel, to live.Strong characters and dark events this series kept me locked in. Read each book in one sitting. Hard to put down. This one is one for the emotional books. less
