review 1: I LOVED this one!!! My favorite book in this series thus far. The one thing I love about reading McCray's books is she writes her heroes and heroines to have everyday issues (things like depression, anorexia, stalkers, etc.) and it makes reading the books seem more real.Ricki I LOVED her character...she was perfect for Garrett who btw I liked when he was first introduced in a previous book.And let's not forget the serious head trip this story gives you...I have NEVER read another book like this one EVER and that in itself makes this book stand out. Deena in this...I have only one this to say about her...that botch is cray cray!I highly recommend this book it was such a great read and hit had so much suspense in it kept ahold of me until the last page, I couldn't put it do... morewn for very long.
review 2: (Side note)When I read the back cover to this story, I had to laugh. Why? Well, I just sent in my own story featuring a baker to my editor and now I was going to start reading about a baker from one of my favorite authors. Ironic huh?Thankfully, Ricki didn't own/operate a naughty baker and my story didn't feature a P.I. Phew, what a relief. :)(Back to the review)What I loved about "PWY" was the plot. So many stories center around a guy obsessed over a woman. In this story, a mentally unstable woman (Deena) fixated on Ricki and wanted her all to herself. Believe me, Deena was a total nutcase! Also, many shining stars in a story are the humans. In this case, I have to say Xena, Ricki's companion, out shined them all in the end. less
