review 1: Not bad. The protagonist is kind of obsessed with her dead husband, but maybe that's explained better in the first book. Seems weird, though...guess you don't know how you'd react unless it happens to you, so I really don't want to know how I'd feel in that situation. Don't understand why she backs off the guy she seemed to like! Storyline was fine. Eleanor (and her sister) seems to have a lot of time to roam around town for a small business owner!
review 2: my library branch did not have the first book in the series, so read this one first, but I don't think I missed anything from the first book. There were some vague references to previous events, but not too many. As far as "mystery niche" books (a ton of them around now) go, this one was better than some. T
