review 1: Although The Einstein Pursuit is the eighth pairing of Payne and Jones, it features heavily one of my favorite characters, Interpol's Nick Dial. Nick is sent to Stockholm, Sweden to assist with the investigation of a horrific explosion that kills an elite group of scientists from around the world. Dr. Mattias Sahlberg learns that he is next on the kill list so he enlists the help of Payne & Jones to help keep him alive. The two storylines quickly intersect to become a race to not only keep Dr. Sahlberg alive but to find out why the scientists were targeted and what were they working on. I'm ecstatic that Nick Dial got a larger role in this book and the banter between Payne & jones always makes me laugh. If I was in trouble, these guys would be my picks for keeping me safe.... more The action is exhilarating and the virtual tour on Chris Kuzneski's website shows the stunning locales featured in this book.
review 2: Throughout the length of this book you're gonna keep asking just one question -why? why? why? Never revealing the actual things straight Kuzneski takes the reader winding through places and incidents. A perfect book for a flight-delayed-by-hours moment. Jones and Payne are enough to keep one glued to the book all the time. Plus the scientific touch Kuzneski has put into this one makes it more interesting. Kuzneski never bores you with unnecessary words and phrases. Rather the bulk of the book is about action, planning, witty humor and suspense. less

It had less of Payne and Jones than I'd have liked.
