Tales of the Ketty Jay
review 1: Up until the last page, I thought I'd give myself a coronary from all the excitement mixed with can't-believe-it's-going-to-end bookworm fury. Yeah, I'm totally fangirling right now, but MAN, the Ketty Jay series was such a rare treat! A superb, action-packed story (BIG DAMN HEROICS!) and brilliantly flawed characters that you can FEEL for, what more can someone possibly ask for? I promise a proper review sometime. Until then, keep in mind that it absolutely rocks and I've had to read such a captivating series since Harry fuckin Potter.
review 2: I was hovering between a four and a five for this one. The reason being that I am sad to think this will be the last we will read of the disreputable crew of the Ketty Jay. I've enjoyed reading about their somewhat d
... moreisastrous escapades. The closest anyone will get to this would be watching the exploits of the crew of the Serenity and I miss that as well. There's an idea, they should do a film or a tv series. Anyway I digress , all good things come to an end if you like a book with a mixture of adventure, camaraderie, plenty of banter, fights and near death experiences you will enjoy this series. I'm a great fan of Chris Wooding, waiting to see what he tackles next :) less

For some reason I just couldn't get into this one though I loved the other 3 in the series

An excellent end to a good series. Suitably messy finale, with most ends tied up.

A great end to the series with a group of character who will be sorely missed.

Very sad to have reached the end of the series, but what a way to finish!
