review 1: I wish I could give this book a better rating, but it just wasn't for me. I was bored the majority of the time. I didn't feel that vital connection between the main characters, Daphne and Gib. For a book with this title, I would've expected more from them. Overall, the book seemed like it had too many things going on without enough focus or detail on one. And then the ending seemed too choppy and not wrapped up well.
review 2: This is a story that is sweet. It's a love story.  I am always drawn to books where the male leads are British.  Let's face it the accent is sexy and yes I imagine him speaking in that accent.  Daphne lost her mother at an early age and was raised by her father and big brothers.  Gib is a very typical playboy but I felt even though Da
... morephne was his best friend and knew of his Lothario ways it had to be hard for her.  Most women do not like to compete with their man's past.  I really felt these two had a solid friendship.  There wasn't a whole lot of sex in this book but still Gib radiated sexiness.  I would have liked maybe a little more from Gib.  I felt like Daphne really adored him.   I knew Gib wanted her but I think maybe he could have expressed his feelings towards her a little more in the book.  The ending was sugary sweet and of course happy. less
