For the final instalment of the Fifth Shades series, titled ‘Fifth Shade: Freed’,Liam Payne and Rita Ora lead the way of the upcoming title soundtrack for the movie with a song called ‘For You’. It’s unclear who else is featured on the upcoming soundtrack but judging by the last two, I’m sure we can expect some big names. The film is due to be released early February.
In comparison to other songs released from the film series, I believe it’s this one that falls the shortest. It’s a pretty OK song. Nothing is majorly special about it, and in terms of it coming from a film that’s pretty sexual and lustful, it doesn’t really hold that sound. ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,’ and ‘Love Me Like You Do,’ definitely had that feel of love and lust to it, whereas this one just feels like your box standard Liam Payne and Rita Ora collaboration.
With all the buzz of the film, the song is bound to nab a lot of attention and do pretty successful, as did the last two debut singles from the soundtracks. I’m not completely ruling it out saying it’s a horrible song, I just feel this one is the one with the least “fifty shades” feel to it.
