review 1: I need to stress that if this sparks your interest and you want to read ‘Silvern’, you need to read ‘Glided’ first! This is ‘The Glided Series’, ‘Glided’ being the first and ‘Silvern’ the second. I’ll post information about ‘Glided’ at the bottom with the link to my review. Bit of news announced yesterday by Christina herself, there is going to be a third book in the series! Christina posted yesterday on her Facebook page that the contract was signed yesterday and announced the name… The third book is called ‘Brazen’!If you have read ‘Silvern’ then you’ll be just as excited as I am, we needed a third book after the heartbreaking cliffhanger we are left with! Well done and congratulations Christina!Now my review.If you’re a lover of m... moreyths this is a great book to have in your life, and in ‘Silvern’ I feel you get more of that. Learning all different ones, but not only has Christina given us a great story with myths you’re given a history lesson. A very fun one at that! When reading Silvern you pick up on everything, all the different mythical creatures, weapons etc… to the point that when you’re finished you feel like you could give a lesson on this. That’s a great feeling, you do truly feel like you have played a massive part in the story, finding out things alongside the characters. It truly is an action packed history lesson!‘Jae Hwa Lee’ (The main female character) is great heroine. The only ‘fault’ could possible be her moaning, and that’s just me being really picky. Although I felt that Jae was moaning abit, the ending made up for that completely! When it comes down to it Jae is brave and stubborn, won’t be treated like a ‘baby’. She’s not a stand-back-and-let-the-guys-do-the-work kind of girl, she gets her hands dirty. 100% a Jae lover!I don’t want to babble on and on about how much I really do love this series or else I’ll end up giving something away. All I will say is it’s a great read, take your time and take everything in. Highly recommend this book!Without a doubt, an incredible action packed can’t put down book… 5/5 stars!
review 2: This is a great book, with an ending saying give me book 3 now!!! I loved the romance even more in this book between Marc and Jae then the first. I loved that the friendship between Michelle and Jae continues to grow and that she lets her into her world a little more in this book.Jae thinks that a normal life is possible now that Haemosu is dead. She wants to hang out with her boyfriend and her friends and not think about the things that have happened in the past. Soon she will be reminded that she cannot escape the past, when a new enemy emerges. This book is full of passion, action, deceit, and twists and turns you won't expect. I literally cried at one point, and you will know when you read it!!! This book had a huge cliff hanger and I can't wait for the next one!!! less
