review 1: On Clair De Lune's 16th birthday she started to flirt and crush on Matthew Engle. She thought she was normal and human but she couldn't of been more wrong. The day after her birthday she got a really bad rash on the back of her hands and on her ears. That night was when her mum told her she was a werewolf. She started to freak out and fell sick. She didn't handle it too well. She knew that Her and Matthew where over because his father was a werewolf hunter. But she loved him and you can never ignore love. She snuck out to meet him when her mum wasn't there. Her mum didn't help very much with the whole how to get through your a werewolf thing. Can Clair and Matthew survive. Dose he find out what she is. To find out read Clair De Lune by Christine JohnsonI loved this book. I... more loved the love and the werewolves. Loved it... :D
review 2: I gave it one star... I'm sorry. It was the plot.In a world with invented, twisted morals there's not going to be much credibility in any story. With a main character like Claire, the author was hard put to come up with an "evil villain" (a scientist who hates werewolves for no real reason, so that Claire can seem open minded when she is, in fact, a spoiled brat). All this book will do is inflate teenagers egos (only if they're that dumb, of course). When there are no morals, there is no real evil. When there is no real evil, there's not much threat. So basically, any twerpy teen like Claire can save the day. This is no Harry Potter, and never could be, when the author lives in THIS much of a fantasy world.The werewolf idea was good, but she made it boring. Waste of time. Don't recommend it. less
