review 1: Bachelor's Special is one of those books are great anytime of year, but especially for summer. Jill and Chet are instantly attracted to each other and because of this attraction it costs Jill her job the first time they meet. They meet again and the attraction is there, but this time Jill is wary of starting anything with Chet. Once Chet finds out about the loss of her job, he comes out with another solution to her unemployment. He wants to hire her as a live in chef. Jill at first refuses job, but ultimately gives in. This is where the story I found truly enjoyable.
review 2: Bachelor's Special is a fabulous, tasty summer read. The heroine Jill Adgate is spicy and quick. She is a strong, empowered woman who knows what she wants. Chet Castle is jaded by his pas... moret and terrified of the things that Jill makes him feel. Jill wants it all, Love, Marriage, Career. Chet wants no strings, afraid to get burned again. Throw in a trumped up business deal that gives them both what they want, some miscommunication and you have a hot summer read that will make your taste buds tingle and your toes curl. less
