review 1: The Young Avengers and Runaways are pulled into another crossover event, but this one makes a hell of a lot more sense, given the Skrull connection. And the seeds of a compelling story are there, with Hulkling, savior of the Skrull race, and Xavin, Skrull prince, getting some meaty scenes together. But for the most part, this miniseries is very hard to follow, and the art doesn't make it easy to tell who's who half the time, especially when everyone is all Skrulled out. The two teams don't interact very much this time, either. A fun jaunt, but not too memorable.
review 2: I would prefer to give this 2.5 out of 5. I love the Runaways , this takes place right after Dead End Kids (Joss Whedon). The re-direction into the Secret Invastion and the Runaway's part was
... morea big drop off or letdown. I found this to be a weak entry into the world of the Runaways. I dont read Young Avengers so I cant speak from their perspective but I imagine YA fans dont consider this a pivotal must own trade. I read this after I read the entire run of Runaways , not sure if that really matters. less

I'll tell you this, they did what they could with a stupid event and a cracky premise. Hulking!

This mashup was okay, but half the Young Avengers didn't even do anything. What was the point?
