review 1: First off, I have to emphasize my overall hate for the author's use of adding in multiple languages & then having to explain what the phrases meant. Yes, it was enlightening - to a point - but after a while, it became very annoying. I also didn't like that she chose to go back & forth between Sam & Will. Generlly, I don't mind because it makes the story better - in most cases. But I really felt like the author made Will seem like a big girl ... all of the manliness was washed aside - maybe that was the point? I don't know, but it ruined how I imagined Will. Those little things aside, the story was more intense & interesting ... definitely a few curveballs. But it was just okay, nothing I can truly rant or rave about.
review 2: So many creepy things happen in thi
... mores one. Sam really starts to think about the dumb things she does and finally stops doing them. It was a little slow through the middle though. Sam tries to think things through, but ends up being too trusting. She does grow and get better but it's a little frustrating. I liked the adventure Will went on, I liked the mystery they had to uncover. The villains were so scary, but I only gave it 4 stars because I was expecting more from the ending. It was good, but not quite great. less
