review 1: This short special e book is a must read for all Joe Picket and Nate fans. If you don't have an e book device, borrow one. I am not generally a short story fan, but I was immediately involved with heightened emotions as I read how Nate handled yet one more abombimable situation! I have given everything written by CJ Box a 5 star rating so far, only because there is not a greater rating available!!
review 2: Fiction; Mystery4 starsI originally bought this for my hubby who has read all of CJ Box's books. After seeing it on my Kindle for months, I finally decided to see what all the Romanowski/Pickett hype was about. I was pleasantly surprised! This was a great little short story. Box did a great job introducing characters to me for the first time and I felt a... moren instant connection. I liked how the story progressed and was pleased with the bit of humor at the end.If you are new to CJ Box and want a taste of his writing style, I recommend this short story to you. less
