review 1: I purchased this book and Aliens love underpants after laughing at them and using them during a group interview to get into University. This is a really good picture book and the words follow a nice flowing rhythmic pattern. The images are good and content fun. There are better picture books on the market but I am glad I own this one. What child does not like Aliens and Meteorites!
review 2: Aliens in Underpants Save the World is a well-illustrated and comical book about the day the aliens saved the world...using underpants! Back on Earth, satellites warned scientists that a meteorite would soon hit the earth, and the aliens in space knew just what to do! They landed on Earth and borrowed everyone's underwear, banding them together in one very large and stretchy u
... morenderpant. As the meteorite tried to consume Earth, it hit the elastic underpants that stretched far across the sky, and it bounced back into space. The day was saved...by the aliens...using underpants!! How strange?Aliens in Underpants Save the World is a book appropriate for ages 2 through 2nd grade. The book is for 100% total enjoyment and laughs. Kids in the pre-k and kindergarten rooms will get quite a kick out of their teacher reading about underwear, but at the same time there's a learning experience to be had. The aliens call underpants a variety of different things: underpants, underwear, drawers, bloomers, etc. After mentioning this, I would implement a lesson on diversity and different family upbringings. We would discuss what their families call underwear. We might discuss different terms as well, but overall, we would learn that there are multiple names for one single thing. No one answer is right or wrong, but rather, it shows the differences between one another. In my classes with the really young ones, we would use this book for counting and color identification. We would count how many pairs of underpants are in the book, and we would name the colors of each pair of underpants. less
